The New Wesley Chapel stands as a complementary and more intimate counterpart to the Methodist Church of the Resurrection’s primary sanctuary. Designed to advance the church’s mission, it provides a sacred setting for weddings, funerals, and the rhythm of daily worship.
In the conceptual design phase, Studio Totus offered formation to both the design team and building committee, emphasizing the theological significance of worship, the role of sacred space, and the profound influence architecture exerts on liturgical life. Through this process, Studio Totus was instrumental in cultivating consensus between the architect and the owner while deepening the theological integrity and symbolic richness of the design.
